2014
Wilderness Run was the first roller coaster that was built by Intamin. Wilderness Run is located in the Camp Snoopy section of the park.
In 1979 Cedar Point opened Jr. Gemini! Jr. Gemini was Cedar Point's first roller coaster that was designed to entertain the park's shorter guest!

The ride was located in Gemini Children's Area and was very popular for many years!
Jr. Gemini was the first roller coaster for many guest over the years at Cedar Point!

2013 was the last season for Jr. Gemini. Gemini Children's area was removed to make way for Pipe Scream! The coaster itself was not removed, it would get a new life starting in 2014!

In 2014, Jr. Gemini was renamed Wilderness Run! The ride was pint Green and Brown to fit the new theme of the ride!

To make way for Pipe Scream, the entrance was moved to Camp Snoopy! The ride was also given a new entrance plaza! In 2014, Wilderness Run became Camp Snoopy's second roller coaster!

Wilderness Run was the first roller coaster designed and built by Intamin AG of Switzerland! After building Wilderness Run ( Then Jr. Gemini) Intaimin and Cedar Point built: Avalanche Run (1985) ( later Disaster Transport(1990)), Millennium Force (2000), Wicked Twister (2002) , Top Thrill Dragster (2003) and Maverick (2007)! Wilderness Run is the smallest roller coaster Intamin has ever built! Intamin has also built the world's tallest roller coaster, the 456 foot tall Kingda Ka (2005) at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey!
