The Tilt-a-Whirl was first invented in 1926. Cedar Point had a model from the 1930's to the 1950's It was located on the current site of Cedar Downs!

Tilt-A-Whirl was a spinning ride. The cars spun around in a huge circle. The car also rotated a full 360 degrees while it was spinning.

After Woodstock Express, Tilt-A-Whirl often had the longest line in Camp Snoopy because of its popularity.

Tilt-A-Whirl was one of two rides in Camp Snoopy that didn't fit the theme with Camp Snoopy opened in 1999. In 2014 Lolli Swing became Charlie Brown's Wind Up, leaving Tilt-A-Whirl the only unthemed ride in Camp Snoopy.

After Camp Snoopy opened in 1999, Cedar Point continued to add rides that would make the ride unique: Millennium Force (2000), Wicked Twister (2002), Top Thrill Dragster (2003) maXair (2005), Skyhawk (2006), Maverick (2007), Planet Snoopy (2008), Shoot The Rapids (2010-2015), WindSeeker (2011), Dinosaur's Alive (2012-2018), GateKeeper (2013), Pipe Scream (2014), Wilderness Run (2014), Rougarou (2015), Valravn (2016), Cedar Point Shores Waterpark (2017), Steel Vengeance (2018), Forbidden Frontiers (2019).and Snake River Expedition (2020). All of these new attractions have brought something unique to Cedar Point.

Tilt-A-Whirl was a great re-introduction of a ride from the park's past! The park would later bring the Flying Scooters back in 2014 with Lake Erie Eagles and Paddlewheel Excursions in 2020 with Snake River Expedition!

For 2019, Tilt-A-Whirl was renamed, repainted and re-themed as Linus' Beetle Bugs! The tradition of Tilt-A-Whirl lives on in a new way!
