Closed: 1989 Location: Beach Midway Manufacture: Intamin AG Avalanche Run was at Cedar Point from 1985-1989, It was replaced with the Disaster Transport indoor roller coaster in 1990. Avalanche Run was a bob sled roller coaster. This classic family space adventure was removed from the park in 2012, in order to make way for Gatekeeper. |

Challenge Golf was an uncharge golf course that was located in Challenge Park. Challenge Golf opened in 1991. Challenge Golf featured beautiful landscaping and hills to golf off of. Challenge Golf was removed in the fall of 2016 and was replaced with a parking lot. Challenge Golf had replaced a parking lot when it was built.

The ride was originally near Magnum. In 2003 it was moved near Wicked Twister. The ride was a new technology and it had a lot of mechanical problems. It was removed in 2010. |

Closed: 2012 Location: Beach Midway Manufacture: Intamin AG Avalanche Run opened in 1985 on the Cedar Point Beach. In 1990 Avalanche Run was enclosed and re-themed as Disaster Transport. Disaster Transport was an indoor roller coaster that took riders to on an adventure into outer space! Disaster Transport was removed to make room for GateKeeper. Did anyone ever make it to Alaska? |

Closed: 1985 Location: Adventure Island Manufacture: Von Roll Frontier Lift was a Von Roll Sky Ride that took guest from the Main Midway to Frontiertown. When the ride opened in 1967, it was one of two ways to get to Frontier Town. Over the years the Frontier Trail and the new Gemini and Corkscrew Midway would also connect to Frontiertown making the ride outdated. Frontier Lift closed in 1985 to make room for future expansion. |

Expanded in 1998 Gemini Children's Area gave kids something to do in the back of the park. The area closed in 2013 to make room for a Gemini Midway make over. |

The ride was moved in 1998 to Gemini Children's Area. Bumper Boats was similar to bumper cars. The goal was to bump as many boats as you can! Bumper Boats was removed in 2013 to make room for the new Gemini Midway Expansion. Lake Erie Eagles sits here today. |

Closed: 1978 Location: Beach Midway Manufacture: Anton Schwarzkopf Jumbo Jet was a powered spiral stile roller coaster that was located on the beach. Jumbo Jet was very unique because it featured a spiral lift hill. Jumbo Jet was a very hard ride to keep it operational. The ride suffered a lot of downtime. The ride closed in 1978 and has moved to several parks since it left Cedar Point. |
