The building that houses Peanuts @ The Point was originally built in 1965 to house the Earthquake dark ride. Earthquake took riders on an adventure where they experienced the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. It would close in 1984.
In 1985 Earthquake was replaced with Berenstain Bear Country. Berenstain Bear Country was a themed area to the Berenstain Bears. It would be expanded in 1992 to include an outside section. It closed at the end of the 1998 season.
In 1999 Berenstain Bear Country was replaced with Snoopy Boutique and Peanuts Playground. Snoopy Boutique was a peanuts themed gift shop. It closed on October 28, 2021.
On February 24, 2022 Cedar Point announced Snoopy Boutique was being remolded, and replaced with Peanuts @ The Point for the 2022 season. The Gift Shop would receive several updates and a new look.
Peanuts @ The Point was given a comic book feel to it. It is almost like you are walking into a comic book!
The gift shop really gives the midway a new, more modern look.
The inside of Peanuts @ The Point looks really nice. It was entirely remolded for the 2022 season. The gift shop really looks modern.
