Bumper Boats

Bumper Boats opened in 1993 in the Kiddy Kingdom section of the park. For the 1998 season, This ride was moved to the Gemini Children's Area for an area expansion with the new Frog Hopper! This ride fit in really well with the area because Gemini Children's Area opened in 1979 and the Bumper Boat company started in 1979.

Bumper Boats was a relaxing ride in witch kids would float around in a small pool of water. Kids were able to bump into other kids on the ride.

Over Time, Bumper Boats started to lose riders. This is normal as rides age. Bumper Boats started to see a huge decrease in riders. It got to the point the ride wold close because of a lack of riders.

Bumper Boats were closed for the final time on October 27, 2013 after 20 seasons of operation. Bumper Boats are being replaced with Lake Erie Eagles in 2014!
