Jake Hamons - Creator & CEO

It took a simple visit to Cedar Point for Jake Hamons to realized that his passion for amusement parks was simply more than just a hobby. Creator & CEO of CP Insiders, Jake Hamons has shared his passion with his peers to create a website dedicated to our favorite amusement park, Cedar Point! After graduating from Seneca East High School in 2012, Jake began working at Cedar Point. He was a Building Cleaning Attendant, Restroom Attendant, and most recreantly a Ride Host.  When he is not at work, you can find him traveling to other amusement parks.

Brandon Johnson - President

Brandon Johnson is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Brandon loves roller coasters and Magnum XL-200 here at Cedar Point is his all time favorite coaster. Brandon excells at mathematics and music. Brandon graduated from Grove City College in 2019. In 2020 Brandon achieved his lifetime goal of become a Sandusky resident!  Brandon also loves to tell his friends jokes and be funny.

Fun Fact: Brandon has a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Music. 

Sarah Jane Wolfgang - Vice President 

Sarah is originally from Vermilion Ohio, about 20 minutes from Cedar Point. She will ride anything when it comes to coasters. Sarah has worked several seasons with the park which started in the 1990s. In late 2022 she had accepted a part time position and now works for the park year round.  She has been a Ride Op, Police dispatcher and  during winter works as a lifeguard at Castaway Bay. Sarah's favorite ride is Raptor with Millennium Force as a hard 2nd. She now enjoys her passion with her kids who now work with the park as well. Sarah was honored to have the privilege of being the supervisor of WindSeeker for the 2022 season. 

Fun Fact: Sarah is one of the few Cedar Point ride operators to work every ride in the park including Disaster Transport and Mantis!

Social Media Department

Given Warner- Social Media Director 

Given Warner was born in Cincinatti, Ohio. He really enjoys traveling around and riding roller coasters. He has been to Cedar Point, Kings Island. Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Knobles, Kennywood, Hershey Park, Universal Orland,  Disney World, and Dorney Park. Given worked at Cedar Point from 2019-2020. He worked Blue Streak, GateKeeper, Raptor, Rougarou, and Valravn. 

​When Given isn't at Cedar Point you can always find him doing something adventurous  He loves hanging out with his friends.

Fun Fact: Given was able to go to Geauga Lake before it closed.

Andy Barkdoll- Social Media Manager

Andy is from Pennsylvania. While he was in collage he got to live in Tennessee and California. Andy really enjoys riding roller coasters.  He often visits Six Flags Great Adventure, Dollywood, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Hershey Park, Bush Gardens, and of course Cedar Point. 

​When Andy isn't riding roller coasters he really likes producing shows and creating music. You can check out his work here!

Amy Shollenberger

Amy lives close to the park and has been visiting Cedar Point since 1982 where the Jr. Gemini sparked her enthusiasm for roller coasters at a young age! She grew up in a family that loves roller coasters and trips to Cedar Point were always on the agenda! She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and love of roller coasters with her children and her students at school! Amy and her family enjoy spending their days at the park during the season and when they are not at CP they can be found traveling to other parks such as Kings Island, Carowinds, Kings Dominion and Hersheypark, just to name a few! Fun Fact:

​Amy’s favorite coaster is Millennium Force! She waited in line 4 hours the year it opened to ride and it’s been her favorite ever since!
