Roller Coasters

Cedar Point has a great collection of coasters. Throughout the years, Cedar Point has built a total of 38 roller coasters. Today, the park is operating 17 of the world's best scream machines!

Blue Streak

Blue Streak is Cedar Point oldest operating roller coaster. It opened in 1964. named after the local high school foot ball team, Blue Streak is a classic ride that keeps thrilling riders. Blue Streak is 78 feet tall and reaches speeds of 40 MPH.  

Cedar Creek Mine Ride

This runaway Mine Train will run you through mines and lagoons. Mine Ride takes its riders up 48 feet not once but twice! Just because it's Cedar Point's second oldest coaster doesn't mean it's not thrilling. Mine Ride is an experience like no other!

Corkscrew

The triple looping Corkscrew was Cedar Point's first roller coaster to break world records. Corkscrew was the first roller coaster in the world to flip riders upside down 3 times and twice over a midway! Corkscrew's trains are red, white, and blue.

Gemini

This racing coaster is fun to ride. This coaster was also Cedar Point's first roller coaster to break the record of being the tallest and fastest coaster in the world! Since 1978, Cedar Point has broken this record 3 more times!

Iron Dragon

Cedar Point's suspended coaster takes riders on a delightful ride through the woods. Iron Dragon is one of two roller coasters at Cedar Point to have two lifts!  Iron Dragon is a fun ride for the entire family!

Magnum XL-200

This roller coaster was the first roller coaster over 200 feet and defined the term hyper coaster. Magnum was the tallest roller coaster at Cedar Point for 10 years! Magnum is the only coaster at Cedar Point to be in 3 different parks!

Raptor

Cedar Point's inverted coaster is often ranked as one of the the park's best coasters. Opened in 1994, this steel swooping monster is not one bit tame. Raptor was the first ride in 30 years to dramatically change the look of the main midway!

Woodstock Express

With the edition of Camp Snoopy in 1999, came Woodstock Express, Cedar Point's family coaster. Woodstock Express is Cedar Point's tallest children's coaster!

Millennium Force

Consistently rated as the world's best roller coaster, Millennium Force didn't break records; it shattered them. Standing 310 feet tall, Millennium Force is 1 of 6 Giga Coasters in the world; it is the second tallest Giga coaster in the universe!

Top Thrill Dragster

Cedar Point's tallest and fastest roller coaster. Top Thrill Dragster is the world's second tallest roller coaster, and is one of the fastest in the world.  This ride includes 2 450 degree turns!

Maverick

Maverick will twist and turn its riders through canyons and low to the ground areas.  Maverick is a fantastic ride. This ride includes a 105 foot tall lift with an amazing 95 degree drop. Maverick reaches speeds of 72 MPH!

Gatekeeper

   GateKeeper is an amazing epic coaster! Built in 2013, GateKeeper changed the front of the park forever! GateKeeper jumps over the parks brand new front gate at speeds of 67 MPH!

Wilderness Run

Take a ride thru the wilderness on Wilderness Run! Wilderness Run is 19 feet high. Built in 1979, it was Intamin's first roller coaster!

Pipe Scream

Opened in 2014, Pipe Scream was Cedar Point's 17th roller coaster! Pipe Scram spins its riders up and down and over hills!

​Rougarou

In 2015 riders were given an entire new coaster experience with Rougarou! Rougarou is Cedar Point's first floorless roller coaster. Rougarou has been lurking in the Cedar Point lagoons for many years.

Valravn

This massive Dive Coaster opened in 2016 as the tallest and fastest of its kind in the world! Valravn and Cedar Point broke 10 world records when it opened. Valravn takes riders up 223 feet and drops 214 feet at a 90 degree angle! Valravn is a great ride! 

Steel Vengeance

New for the 2018 season, Steel Vengeance breaks 15 world records when it opened in 2018 as the world's first hyper hybrid coaster in the world! Steel Vengeance features a 205 foot lift with a 200 foot drop at 90 degrees ! Steel Vengeance will have the most air time of any roller coaster in the world! Steel Vengeance is Cedar Point's 18th roller coaster!
