Antique Cars were added to Cedar Point in 1969. Antique Cars is a family ride in witch riders drive around a track that is located in the middle of Frontiertown.
Antique Cars was built by Arrow Dynamics of Clearfield, Utah. Arrow Dynamics was a very innovating company. They would build some of the biggest riders at the time. Over the years they put several rides in at Cedar Point including: Cadillac Cars (1958), Turnpike Cars (1959-2014), Mill Race (1963-1993), Earthquake (1965-1984), Pirate Ride (1966-1996), Shoot-The-Rapids (1967), Antique Cars (1969), Cedar Creek Mine Ride (1969), Corkscrew (1976), Gemini (1978), White Water Landing (1982-2005), Iron Dragon (1987), Magnum XL-200, and Snake River Falls (1993). These rides have been some of Cedar Point's most popular rides over the years.
The average wait time for Antique Cars is 5-10 minutes . The longest line for the ride is rarely over 20 minutes.
The Frontiertown expansion in 1969 was very popular for park guest. They loved the Wild West experience they were getting. Over the years Cedar Point built more attractions that would make the park the best amusement park in the world.
